The CYA INFORMATION FOR PARENTS booklet is intended to serve as a quick-reference guide for parents and others involved in the student’s preparations for study in Greece.
The aim of this booklet is to provide parents with a single, concise source of information on the CYA program and to answer frequent enquiries, thus minimizing--but not eliminating-- the need to search various sections of this website. This booklet contains an overview of the CYA program and its policies, and provides information on preparing the student for arrival in Greece, such as acquiring the proper travel documents and obtaining a student visa. The booklet also contains information that parents and caregivers may need while the student is attending CYA, such as emergency telephone contacts.
CYA recommends that parents download, print, and read this booklet--and keep it on hand as a reference guide before and during the student’s stay in Greece.
