CYA would like to welcome four new interns into the CYA MediaLab team. Every Semester, the CYA MediaLab is happy to gain new collaborators! This semester, our interns are Cayla Friedman, Jove Gorsline, Soussana Kimbouris and Max Wright! You can look forward to seeing their creative projects, articles and social media stories.

Hi! My name is Cayla Friedman, and I am a junior at College of the Holy Cross, where I study Sociology. Originally from Brookline, Massachusetts, I joined the media lab because of my passion for media and marketing. My goal is to help share the unique perspective I’ve gained from College Year Athens with a broader audience, capturing my amazing experiences for others to appreciate.

Γεια σου! My name is Soussana Kimbouris and I’m a junior studying psychology at Kalamazoo College. I am super excited to be one of the media lab interns and share my experiences and my peers experiences through different media forms this semester. I love writing and photography which I plan to utilize to give prospect students an accurate depiction of the student experience at CYA. Additionally, being Greek-American, I hope to be a helpful resource to provide insight to other Greek American students who may be interested in CYA!

Hi there! My name is Max Wright, and I am a junior at Kalamazoo College, double majoring in Classical Civilisation and Theater Arts. Back at home, I help run the social media accounts for my school’s theater and for the musical groups that I’m apart of, allowing me to express my love for the arts in a bunch of different ways. I’m super excited to bring some of my previous experiences into the CYA Media Lab, as well as learn so much and capture some incredible moments here in Athens!
