|Cya Term:||Summer 2022|
Based on your experience with CYA, what are some of the benefits of spending a semester or summer abroad? How has studying abroad contributed to your personal, academic, and professional development?
Studying abroad with CYA for the summer allowed me to become more comfortable with myself, others, and traveling as a whole. It was a great way to ease into being abroad and I learned a ton from my course and the experiences I had with my classmates. Now I want to return to Greece after graduating to work in a teaching or counseling role!
What advice do you have for prospective students who are interested in or planning to study abroad with CYA?
There is no specific major you need to have to study abroad with CYA! It's a very liberal arts-oriented curriculum with wonderful, dedicated staff and faculty. I wish I had studied Greek a bit more beforehand because it was really nice to converse with locals.
