Vassiliki Vlami is an interdisciplinary environmental researcher. She holds a Bachelor’s in Physical Education (University of Athens), a Master of Education (Manchester University, UK) and a Doctorate in Environmental Engineering (University of Patras). She has lived and worked in Canada and has participated in conservation research projects throughout Greece and abroad, including Cyprus, Kuwait and Costa Rica. She has published several books and papers on ecotourism, outdoor recreation and various nature conservation themes. In recent years she has promoted landscape studies in university summer schools and through environmental NGOs.
