Until we meet again! Farewell Class of Fall Semester ’17
There was a great buzz of activity leading up to the final days of fall semester ’17 at CYA. While students were in the midst of finishing their exams, handing in their last papers and readying themselves for the journey home, they managed to leave us with some lovely lasting memories.
Students arranged a wonderful pot-luck dinner to thank the CYA staff and faculty. Prof. Kritsotakis’ C311 Advanced Latin Class, delighted us with a performance of the ancient Roman Play ‘ Mostellaria’. And the whole CYA family (students, staff, faculty, and friends) came together to celebrate the end of the semester, share a delicious meal and watch a wonderful presentation of the many things we did during the semester. Three students, Alleluia Tyus, Chardae Walker and Antoille Brackins also treated us with a beautiful musical performance before the dinner. Take a look at what happened during the last few days of fall semester ’17. [huge_it_gallery id=”19″]
Although we are sad to say goodbye to a wonderful bunch of students, even more so, we are proud and happy to see them return home having accomplished so many great things in their semester abroad with us. Greece will always be their second home.
On behalf of everyone at CYA, we wish the CYA class of Fall ’17 a joyous holiday season and a healthy peaceful new year, all the best in their future endeavors, and we look forward to seeing them in Greece again in the near future!
