Jason Xygkis holds a Bachelor’s degree in History from the Ionian University in Corfu, a Master’s degree in Cultural Studies from the NTU of Athens, and a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Athens. His areas of interest and specialization include: Phenomenology, Existentialism, German Idealism, Post-structuralism, Ancient Greek Philosophy, the study of Totalitarianism, the History of World War II (in particular Nazism and the Holocaust), and the study of Spaces of Memory, Exception, and Internment.
