On the occasion of the 7th Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) Conference (October 16-18, 2024), CYA will be hosting a Group Site Visit for members of educational institutions, from Sunday, October 13th to Wednesday, October 16th. This visit presents a unique chance for participants to acquaint themselves with CYA and the city of Athens in general, as well as the various opportunities our students have while here.

During their visit, our guests will:

  • Explore CYA’s Academic Center and engage with CYA staff and faculty.
  • Participate in faculty-led visits to various archaeological and contemporary sites throughout Athens, as well as guided thematic walks through Athenian neighborhoods.
  • Take part in a workshop titled “Study Abroad: Defining and Redefining ‘Duty of Care’ – Strategies for Cultivating Inclusive Campus Cultures, to delve into the role of education abroad in fostering safe and inclusive campus communities.
  • Conduct site visits to various CYA internship providers, ,” including a visit to the premises of one of our recent partners, the National Center for Scientific Research Demokritos In addition to CYA courses in collaboration with NCSR Demokritos, our STEM students also undertake internships there, immersing themselves in a scientific community, gaining valuable lab experience, and accessing networking opportunities.
  • Join our Open House on Wednesday, October 16th, 2024.

CYA will cover the costs for accommodation, meals & ground transportation.
