*Students who are enrolled in CYA’s spring semester only pay the tuition fee.

What’s Included:

The course fees cover tuition, housing in CYA apartments or hotel units, course materials, and visits to sites related to the course.
Fees do not cover personal travel (including travel between home and the location of the course in Greece), local public transportation, meals (other than the ones listed on the course page), personal belongings insurance, medical care or insurance, personal expenses and incidentals.

For Excavations at Aixonidai Halai (Voula Field School), transportation to and from the Voula excavation site is included in the course fee.

For Crete and the Aegean from Prehistory to the Early Byzantine Period (Athens, Santorini, Crete), transportation to and from Santorini and to Crete are included in the course fee.

Out of Pocket expenses:

Course Fees do not cover personal travel (including travel between home and the location of the course in Greece), local public transportation, meals, personal belongings insurance, medical care or insurance, personal expenses and incidentals.

Students who took a Winter course previously estimate that they spent between $750 and $1,200 on meals, entertainment, weekend travel and personal expenses and incidentals.

Winter Payment and Refund Policy

Full payment is due upon receipt of winter course invoice.
No refunds will be given if a student withdraws after November 25th.
All payments must be in US dollars.
