The greatest benefits that come with studying abroad are all the new experiences you gain, and the stories you are able to share once you return from your trip. Being able to revisit certain memories can help you prepare for future scenarios when traveling, and having the experience studying abroad allows you to pass on advice to those who haven't traveled away yet!

What advice do you have for prospective students who are interested in or planning to study abroad with CYA?

You will gain so much support from CYA staff both before you embark on your flight and after you land in Greece. Don't feel like you're alone!

Briefly describe a cultural experience you had that was significant to you in any way.

When I first landed in Greece, I thought I'd have a hard time navigating different situations, given that English is not the official language of the country. After realizing how accessible Greece is, and how widely-spoken English is, I wanted to give back by demonstrating efforts to improve my conversational Greek!
